Tv Will Be Ok Then Screen Turns Green

the audio is ok. I turn the unit off and back on and will be ok for a while then green again. I has been doing this for a month. the interval between ocurences is becoming shorter.

I assume it's a CRT type TV. It is best to mention the model number when asking questions.

Now if it's a picture tube, 95% of the time the CRT gun is shorting, with one of the primary colors- Red Green or Blue. Not worth fixing.
