Driver Not Showing In 'my Computer' Option.

Hello... I am trying to connect Samsung "SH W162Z" model DVD writer with the help of the adapter know as "IDE to SATA" converter to my pc which is having sata cable motherboard. Problem is the driver could not be deducted by the system and is not showing in the "MY COMPUTER" option. So could you help me to solve this problem.Thanking You,Surya Chaturvedi.

IDE to SATA adapters don't always work very well. Try some of the troubleshooting steps mentioned here.
