Unfortunately, there isn't a(n easy) way to remove this on a CDMA phone. If it was a phone that had a SIM card, you could simply remove the SIM card, as the phone number and other identifying information is on the card. With a CDMA phone like this one, the only way to completely remove everything is to reflash the phone (kind of like literally wiping the hard drive and reinstalling the operating system). All cell phones have some sort of operating system, even the very simple phones that only can do talk and text. The operating system tells them what to do and how to do it. Remove that, and you have a paperweight. There is usually a high risk of bricking the phone, especially if you do not find instructions specially tailored for that specific phone and/or if those instructions are not from a trustworthy source, you run a high risk of bricking the phone (making it useless). Now for the good news. I myself have sold dozens of phones that I have wiped clean but could not remove my phone number, and have never, ever had a problem. When the buyer reactivates the phone, their phone number overrides the number shown as "your number". If you trust your buyer, that is enough. If not, you could always buy the cheapest airtime option available and reactivate the phone yourself with a new phone number. Then either use up the airtime yourself or sell it as "already activated and ready to talk--service active until MM/DD/YY". Good luck!
