How to fix Samsung refrigerator that makes a humming noise?
Turn the ice maker in the Samsung freezer off if the water line is not connected. Doing this stops the unit from making the humming noise. It also keeps the unit from being damaged. But if the water line is connected, you will hear the humming noise but the volume will be low, unobtrusive.
