Power To Unit But Won't Operate.
Our Microwave has been working perfectly now for some years. There is power to the unit and clock works. Pressing pause/cancel twice and then whatever function desired works for entry. There is NO operation of unit upon pressing START.
Hoping for resolution prior to replacement if possible.

Since you have mentioned that your Samsung MW5480W device is working for years now, it might have reached its lifespan. Remember that most electronic devices only last for several years. The best solution for this is to replace the device. You can also hand it over to an electronics technician if you do not yet have the budget.
