Power issues can be the result of a hardware problem and the best thing to do is to get a trained Service Technician to take a look at your TV if you are having trouble. There are a few things you can try at home first:1Check the status of the Standby Light located on the bottom of the TV. If the light is on, it means the TV is receiving power.2Press the Power button on the TV for a minimum of ten seconds to make sure the problem is not with the remote.

The power button is located on the back of the TV or under the front bezel. Depending on your model it will either be in the center of the lower panel, or towards the bottom left hand side (bottom right if you're facing the TV screen) in newer models.

3Ensure the AC power cable is securely plugged in to the TV and the wall outlet. If you are using a power board or surge protector, try plugging the TV directly to the wall outlet to reduce potential interference. Make sure the wall outlet is working with another device.
