How To Hook-up A Magnavox Dvd Video/vhs Combi Mdv 560vr

On the back of your TV you will find video and component input jacks. Video input jacks include both the yellow and the s-video jacks next to the red and white jacks for the stereo jacks. here is where you hook up the VCR section of the VCR/DVD combo, just hook the output jacks to a (RCA type) slide-on patch cords and match the color of the jacks to that on the back of the TV. This output will show what ever the VCR/DVD is playing. The DVD section can also output from the component jacks so it can deliver a better picture. This set of output jacks (5 in all) is green, blue and red for the video, plus the red and white for the audio. These connections on the back of the TV is just below the video jacks. Again just match up the colored jacks using the patch cords. The best way to hook up will be using both sets of outputs, but you can get away only using the composite to make it work.
Using this link on page 2 you will see the bottom picture shows your input jacks and you can see #1 for the video and #9 for the component jacks.
Simply select the inputs you wish to see, but remember this TV will not move to an input until there is plugs attached.
