My Pic Went Out A Couple Days Ago On A Samsung Ln-t3232hx 32' Lcd Rear Projectio
MY PIC WENT OUT A couple days ago on a samsung LN-T3232HX 32" lcd rear projection. it was made in may 2007. all it does when u plug it in is red led power light flashes and it chimes like its gonna come on but doesnt and it keeps repeating this even with out pressing the power button on remote or tv itself. black screen no sound from cable box source just the chime it makes when it turns on. that repeats.

you need the power supply repaired. this is a symptom of some filter capacitors going bad. these parts are generic and replacement parts are available at Radio Shack and such.
The capacitors look like cylinders with a flat top on the power board (where the AC power cord hooks to). The bad ones will have the top puffed up slightly. The values are printed on the side and are probably 1000 microfarad at 10VDC, replace them with same value at a higher voltage rating as long as it will fit it the same area on the board. you can replace them yourself or take the parts and the board to a shop and they can install them for about $25
