Dark On One Side Of Screen, How To Repair?

My tv just started going black on the left side of the screen. Can we repair this ourselves?

Obviously, this is related to the the LCD screen of your Samsung LN37A550. Based on my research, there is no available replacement LCD screen for your device. It is also not possible to repair it yourself especially if you don't have the knowledge about electronics. I suggest that you bring the device to the service/repair center.
