Samsung HL-S5086W Support Question

My Tv Keeps Tuning Off
My Samsung HL-S5086W keeps tuning off. I resurched and saw it may be dust. So I removed dust cover over bulb and removed dust. Still kept turning off. Most say it may be a balast. I also heard it may be a copasater. Or a motherboard. I don't want to spend a fortune trying to find out what is wrong. If I call a repair man he could charge me for all these things. Please help.

Actually it sounds like a weak lamp if when it stops trying to start up and there are LED indicators blinking. These are mercury vapor and as the age they will start shutting off, and will become hard to start.
A bad ballast will normally just stop lighting the lamp.
Capacitors are normally on the power supply and then it will act dead, or hard to get it to try to come on
Dust generally clog up fans, and it will turn on and put the words on the screen that a fan is not working, then it will turn off.
finally there are sets with color wheel that have bearings that goes bad and then you will hear it make noise then the lamp won't light up and you will get the same blinking indicators.
