Can You Tell Me Where The Color Wheel Is Exactly?
I have the sub-assembley out of the unit but I can't seem to find the color wheel. Samsung P5085W

I have been doing this for 35 years and I have never heard of a 3 waffle.
You have a DLP and the color wheel is in the optical engine. If you remove the lamp and look into the engine where the lamp would shine, the first thing you would see is the colored glass filters of the color wheel. The engine slides out with a couple screws and about four wire connections removed. There are two sets of wires from the color wheel assembly that plug into the DMD board (the circuit board clad in the metal case with the fan blowing on the heat sink). These wires need to be taken out carefully, the one with tiny wires is hard to release without pulling on the wires and destroying the connector. and the other flat flex connector can be installed upside-down. There are two screws holding the color wheel assembly in place. These screws are located on the top of the engine screwed down into the chassis. There will be a gasket around the color wheel so I hope this helps.
