Height Adjustment Bolt Wearing Into Beating Block

I've had my r4331 planer for under a month and it seems to be more or less rubbing instead of cutting and I barely take a cut as thin as possible and it sounds like it's cutting a full 1/8 inch off. I took the dust cover off and noticed the bearing block has a hole worn thru it caused by the height adjustment bolt. I can see threads and it doesn't seem to be out of line forward or backwards but the right side (crank adjuster side)does sound like it's cutting deeper than the left but the board does not reflect an elevation difference in the cut. Curious on how to fix this
