Why Is The Ricoh Aficio Mpc3001 Beeping?

The copier beeps for a lot of different reasons, so unless you're getting a message telling you why, it's hard to know for sure. It beeps when it warms up, it beeps when a copy job is done, it beeps if you leave an original on the glass, and it also beeps if there's a problem, such as a paper jam or the machine is out of paper.
If you don't like the beeping, you can turn it off (or just lower the volume). Press the User Tools/Counter button, then go to System Settings and look for the beep/volume settings under the General tab.
