I'm Using An Aficio Mp 4001 Scanner/printer. I Want To Scan Multiple Pages.

I want to scan multiple pages of different sizes into a single file. I can't use the auto feed because papers of different sizes create crooked images or cause jams. But each gap in the process of feeding documents causes the scan to end, and I wind up with multiple files that have to be combined by editing PDFs. I want to put all these papers into one file in one folder.

Hi, there is a setting you can turn on that will cause the scanner to ask you if you want to scan additional pages when scanning on the glass. This setting can be found in User Toosl > Scanner Features, under one of the tabs. It's called SADF Wait Time, or something similar, and you can set a time limit for it to wait for you to scan another page. By turning this setting on, when you go to scan a page off the glass, it will wait to see if you want to scan another page before sending that page to your folder.
