Ricoh Mp 2851 Toner Wont Reset

A common problem on these models is that the toner bottle cap from the previous toner bottle remains in the toner hopper. Remove the toner bottle, and check the hopper for a small plastic cap with two fins on it. If you see it, remove it, then reinstall the toner bottle.

If that's not the problem, you could have a bad toner hopper, bad toner motor, or bad photoconductor unit.
