Paper Jam Message
The paper jam error message did not go away after I removed the paper that misfed through the bypass tray.

Even after removing the jammed paper from the bypass tray, you will still need to open and close the right side cover door. The copier won't check to see if the jam has actually been removed until that cover is opened and closed.
