When I Do Scan To Email On Ricoh Mp 2852 It Shows Connection With The Destinatio

Hi, if you are getting a connection error when trying to scan to email, it is generally caused by one of these issues:

- The SMTP server information is entered incorrectly
- The SMTP server is down
- The DNS server is down (you can get around this by using the IP address for the SMTP server rather than the host name)
- The SMTP authentication information is entered incorrectly
- The wrong port number is chosen for the SMTP server
- The copier's IP address and/or MAC address need to be registered with the SMTP server before being able to send emails
