Not Working

My recorder is not responding to anything. I can press the on button but then it shows a single "a" folder at the top, the box and the pattery setting, other than that there is nothing and it won't respond to any buton pushing (locking, unlocking, recoding, stopping). It won't even turn back off. It does work with the computer program. How do I fix this?
