how do i convert songs to and from device

The two most common formats you'll come across is .mp3 (or mp4) and wma. WMA is windows media player format. You need a converter software to get other formats into mp3 to play on your player. You can downlaod a converter frr online, HERE is a site offering a good coverter. You just convert your music to mp3 by using the converter (follow their instuctions). There are many other formats you may encounter, but most converters will work on them. The only one that may give you some trouble are.aa files. These are converted by using the free download of iTunes. iTunes will play mp3s too. I use it as my player on my computer. Windows media player can be used also, but I find it more difficult to work with than iTunes (probably because I started with iTunes).
