Mp3 Player Will Not Work.

I have a RCA M4804R-A MP3 player. I cannot get it to turn on or connect to my PC. It will not even charge. What should I do?

Things to check:
  • Ensure the Power/Lock slider is not in the Lock position.
  • Reset the player by pressing the RESET button on the back of the player with a non-metal pointed object (e.g. toothpick).
  • If the player still cannot be turned on after resetting, perform a firmware upgrade to restore it. Please go to www.rcaaudiovideo.com for more details.

If nothing works you'll need to send the unit in for service.
