Volume And Sound

Yesterday, I set up my new RCA LCD TV Model 37LA30RQ and it worked perfectly. However, today the volume stopped working. it works fine when watching a DVD, but not when viewing the television--no volume. Yes, we disconnected the DVD player and checked for mute on all remotes and on the set up menu. What to do now???
