I Have A Rca Tv With White Spots Was Told It Was The Light Engine

Whatever you were told is really irrelevant unless the person was a service tech.  You will need to have the TV serviced by a professional.  When they do their diagnostic they will tell you exactly what the issue is and if it's even fixable.  This is a defect, not a setting you can adjust.  You can either have it looked at by a service shop, bite the bullet and buy a new one, or live with the defects in the image.  There is not a lot else you can do since this will not be a user serviceable issue.
