Per the parts catalog, the 8257ES uses a Tecumseh LH318SA engine. The specific carburetor may vary, depending on your engine's subcode (the numbers after LH318SA). For example, the LH318SA-156553G uses carburetor P/N 640349.

Check your engine's specific model number and look it up on Jacks Small Engines to find the exact carb for that engine.
