Beep When Press The Control Button On Cs540
What does that mean when I try to answer my phone by pressing the control button on the ear device and it just beep-beeps and won't let me take or make a call. the stupid instruction sheet this wireless headset system comes with has no troubleshootinbg tips or any info about what this means.

Most likely the CS540 headset and base are not connected properly. Normally new out of the box they are connected, but we've had a few than need to be manually connected. See page 20 of the users guide on Manual Over-the-Air subscription to take care of the problem. It could also be that the battery is not charged or is a defective battery. Low batteries will cause connection issues.
