Pdp-5010 Has No Power

my pioneer pdp5010 is receiving no power,, there is a click when power is plugged in initially, then no lights, no clicks when pressing the power button. I unplugged the power and waited 1-2 minutes before plugging back in and still no power. I thought it may be the main board but I the optical cable I have plugged in has a light emitting from is, possibly showing the main board is ok? Just want to verify before I purchase a new power supply. Thank you

Try this troubleshooting tips first: scroll down to page 93

If after the above troubleshooting didn't fix the problem, try to open the back cover of your tv and look for the small fuse inside (mostly they are placed near the power supply). Check the fuse and replace it if needed. That's most of the time solve the issue.
