Volume!

hey i have a HTZ-77DVD system and when i tries to turn up the system it turns up but it will not turn back down and also it will not let me change between video 1,2, and 3. and the same problem happens with the TV controls for volume but its opposite it turns down but it wont turn up ! do anyone know how to fix this ?
