No Sound From Rear Speakers

I've installed the stereo. The rear purple and green are correctly connected (negative to negative, and positive to positive). Front speakers sound great. No sound at all from rear speakers. I've checked the setting for the rear speakers and they are set for "rear/rear", but still no sound. Any ideas?

Ok I had same problem and figured it out,

1. turn on key

2. power off stereo (press and hold src)

3. press M.C. button (push knob)

4. select initial in menu

5. select SP-P/O MODE

6. find and select REAR/REAR

7. exit menus turn off ignition then turn ignition back on.

8. power on radio and test.
