Use Without Remote Control

Can this soundbar s be used or turned on without the remote control?

I don't think it can be controlled without a remote. But And you can download the Android app "Anymote Smart Remote" and use your phone/tablet to control the soundbar. It found my soundbar instantly and has the exact same control.. and it's a free app!
