Manual Film Speed Selector Is Hidden? Or Something.
My camera's manual film speed selector, which should be at the base of the camera, seems to be covered or hidden. There's a small rectangle covering where it's supposed to be? What should I do? This is absurd, please help! Ah!

It's possible that the film speed selector on your Pentax PC35AF-M camera is covered by a sticker or label that needs to be removed. Some cameras come with a protective label that covers the manual settings to prevent accidental changes or damage during shipping.
To check if this is the case with your camera, look closely at the rectangular area where the film speed selector should be located. If you see any edges or corners that appear to be lifted, use a small tool like a toothpick or the edge of a credit card to gently peel away the sticker or label.
