Having Multiple Intermittent Issues

Im having issues with the head lights, right turn signal, heater/air conditioner, not working intermittently, also the cig lighter. Headlights will go out but if you pull the lever controlling the brights and hold it the lights will come on. There is a faint noise resembling that of a relay switch that can be heard when the lights go out. I'm not sure if it is a loose connection somewhere or God forbid a short. Where do I start? I need a way to trouble shoot the issues, perhaps there is a free downloadable PDF that I can get? Help!
