If you're using your home Wi-Fi connection then there are no charges for accessing the web or email.
You'll only pay to use Wi-FI if you're using a public one - although a lot of places do these for free now. If you are using a chargeable one, you won't be able to connect to the web until you've entered payment information, so there is no chance of you running up a big bill unless you connect through your network.
To be honest though, for what little the internet bundles cost now, with the 5800 you'd be daft not to have an "all you can eat" data plan :)
