The Engine Will Not Get Above 2500 Rpms

This could be caused by a hundred different things. There is no way to diagnose it with a one line comment. You need to take the car to a service shop for a full diagnosis. Personally I would check the spark plugs and the fuel filter but as I said it could be any of a hundred things.
