Lens Cover.

When I'm not using my Nikon D3000 do I store it with a lens attached? Or do I use the plastic cover that came with the camera (fits without the lens, but not with it). Also, in the manual it refers to a "terminal cover". What is this?

You can store your camera with the lens off or on. It doesn't matter. I only take my lenses off when I'm changing lenses or don't have enough space to store my camera in my bag with the lens on.

The terminal cover is the body cap/cover that covers the camera's sensor. It protects the sensor when a lens is not screwed on.
