Flashing Red Clock Face On Screen Nikon Coolpix P500
On the right hand side of the screen when camera turned on there is a small red square with what appears to be a clock face inside it. It continually blinks but doesn't seem to be affecting the use of the camera. I have lost the operating manual for my camera and can't figure out how to stop it.

When a flashing clock symbol appears on your screen, this means that the Date and Time has not been set. When leaving the batteries out of most cameras for a period of time, the date and time settings may be lost and will need to be reset. For most cameras this can be performed through the Setup menu , Date option. Please refer to your User Manual for instructions.
