System Error 10" on a Nikon 4600 camera indicates that there is a problem with the lens. The most common cause of this error is a malfunctioning lens, such as a lens that is not properly connected or a lens that is damaged.

Here are a few steps to try to fix the error:

Turn off the camera and remove the lens. Clean the lens and camera contacts with a soft, dry cloth and reattach the lens.

Try a different lens on the camera to see if the error persists. If the error does not occur with a different lens, the original lens may be damaged and will need to be repaired or replaced.

Remove the battery and memory card from the camera, wait a few minutes, then reinsert them and turn the camera back on.

If none of above steps work, you may want to consider taking the camera to a professional repair service.

It's important to keep in mind that, if the camera is still under warranty, it is best to contact Nikon for assistance or to have it serviced by an authorized Nikon repair facility.
