Username And Password
i just got an ipod generation 2 and it requires a username and password for my router NETGEAR WNR1000v2? I don't have one. the router works on my dsi-xl. What do you suggest

The password will be the wifi security pass phrase which you should already be aware of. No user name should be required. A user name and password would be needed for any Internet based services you connect to like Gmail or Facebook.
Connect to either http://www.routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1. Best to do this from a PC connected with a cable.
The Default Access login information is printed on the bottom label of your router. The default administrator user-name for the router is "admin" and your previously set password (or the default, "password").
From here you can see all settings and/or adjust them. You can find the wireless pass-phrase on the wireless settings page.
