How To Fix Corrupt Firmware On Netgear Wndr 3400 Without Cd

If you've tried to reinstall the firmware and it won't take, and the router won't function properly, one option you have is to restore the router to its factory default state. From there you can try to update the firmware again.

You can find instructions for resetting the WNDR3400 back to factory default settings on page A-1 of the user manual, which you can download here if you need it:
