Adding Contact -razr M

My screen is asking to create in Backup Asst Plus or Google. Why can't I just add the contact. 1st Time I've added.

Normally the phone is asking the user which type of account will be used to back up the contacts. If you have a Verizon Back Up assistant it will be stored on their server and if you choose Google, it will be saved on your Gmail Account. It is actually a good thing to have this option if you will replace your phone in the future. You will still have a backup of all your contacts added on your phone. Hope this helps!
