My New Vacuum Cleaner Won't Start When The Start Button Is On?
I recently bought a new Miele Dynamic U1 Cat and Dog vacuum cleaner. I pulled out the red strip from the air filter on the base and pressed the green strip (which seems to be a bit loose at one end). However, The vacuum cleaner won't start when I plugged it in to a working outlet. What am I doing wrong??

The first thing to try is the fuse. The final thing to try is to move the cable and see if the machine will come on. If the machine comes on then you will need to contact the manufacturer for further advice as this indicates a fault. If you try with any effort, call for service and if the item is still under warranty you request a change.
