Somebody Stole My Cell Phone The Other Day! Now I Do Not Have Another Phone To

to hook my # to! i just paid my bill the other day too! anyways, my question is..can i disable these other people from accessing my phone, making calls, receiving MY calls and texts, but to still be able to have the voicemail for me until i can get another phone, within the month i should be able to!?  Something like KILL the phone, NOT the number!!??
