The error can be caused by a faulty sensor, a wiring issue, or a problem with the instrument cluster itself.

Here's how to troubleshoot the Compass Data Error:

Check the fuses: The compass module is powered by fuse 28 (10 amp) or fuse 12 (7.5 amp) in the interior fuse box. Check if these fuses are blown or loose. Replace any blown fuses with new ones of the same rating.

Disconnect the battery: Disconnecting the battery will reset the compass module and may clear the error. Disconnect the battery's negative terminal, wait for 30 seconds, and then reconnect it.
