Deactivating Door Alarm System

I believe when I lock my Mazda3's doors using the FOB and then try to open them later with a key, an alarm sounds (horn honking, maybe lights flashing) like a lot of other cars do.  I'm out of town and have locked my car with the FOB but need a family member to get into the car with just the key.  What should I suggest?  Will the alarm go off by itself in a few minutes.  Or will she need to find a horn and/or light fuse to pull to deactivate?  Or an alarm fuse? Thanks, Jeff
