Why doesn't my Maytag washer fill up with water?

If your Maytag washer is not filling, check your fill hoses: Check household faucets. Hot and cold water supply lines must be connected and turned on. Check for kinks in inlet

Why is no water coming into my washing machine?

Water comes into your washing machine for the wash and rinse cycles through the water inlet valve. So a lack of water at the wash or rinse cycle could be a result of a broken water inlet valve. Unplug the washer, then use a multi-meter to verify that the solenoids to open the valve have continuity.

Why does my Maytag washer say no water detected?

If the drain hose is not high enough, the incoming water will siphon out, and the sensors will detect that there is not enough water in the washer. Make sure the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. Straighten the hose for adequate water flow. Remove any blockage from the drainpipe of a utility sink.
