Maytag Epic Electric Dryer, Model# Med9700sq - Not Heating

My Matag Epic Electric Front Load Dryer (model # MED9700SQ, is not heating up. The drum turns and everything else seems to be working but there's just no heat. The maunal said to check the breakers and they are not tripped. What else could it be?

There are several things that can cause no heat. The easiest and first check is to pull the plug out and check for 240vac between the two larger horizontal blades. If ok.... remove cover on back of dryer and check at power wiring junction box. Look for burned wiring.

After that it could be burned/defective heating element or open thermal switch inside the dryer.

The usual cause of no heat with a clothes dryer is that the exhaust duct has not been kept clean and the reduced airflow has caused a safety thermostat or safety thermal switch to open.
