Problems With Maytag Model Med7000xr
The dryer powers on and seems like it wants to start and then doesn't. Like the drum can't turn

Take the dryer housing case off the back of your dryer should be 10 mm if you dont have that you can use on of the screwdrivers with 8 or so bits that slide in interchangable or if its just screws unscrew them take the back off when your done on the bottom there is a motor and pulley spindles just like a car has belts your dryers has a belt from motor pulley it goes sroum the dryer drum pulley. See if its on check the pulley to see if it rotates. If not it may be a bearing or the motor if its the motor it will ceased like completely stuck should hear scraping metal on metal sound if its bearings. Hope this helps you
