Tool Not Working

I bought a new makita LXPH01 Hammer Drill. I put a fully charged lit-ion battery 3.0a but when I press the trigger button the lamp light on but the engine not working, when I release trigger button the light goes out after few seconds, What can I do? Thank you, Shiki,
