Getting My Magic Jack To Work On My New Computer

Please do not direct me to sone one who wants money to answer my question.I just want to know what to do to get my magic jack to work on the new computer I have the installation card and have followed the directions

Hook up the device to your computer via its USB port. With a MAC, double-click the magicJack Plus icon that appears. (With a PC, magicJack Plus software will load automatically.) The magicJack comes with a 6-inch USB extension cable in case it interferes with other devices plugged into your USB ports. Click "Click Here To Register" or "Click Here for Free Trial." Follow the on-screen prompts. For more, check out this independent review, which I recommend.

Your magicJack may not work properly, or at all

if you're not logged on to your Windows user account,
if your magicJack is not running,
if it's not properly secured,
if the phone cord is not secured or is broken,
if you're not connected to the Internet,
if your Internet speed is too low,
if without a powered USB hub several phones are used to generate power from a USB port,
or if your magicJack device is defective.

If the device is not defective, these simple actions may resolve the problem. Or you may try these instructions. You can also reset the device, as explained here.

If the device is defective, you need to return it. If you bought it from magicJack, follow the instructions at http://my.magicjack.com/returns.html. If it's too late to return the device, you can seek a resolution with your credit card company or with the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at 850-488-2221 or 2005 Apalachee Pkwy., Tallahassee, FL 32399.
