Renewed My Subscription But I Cant Make Calls Just Receive Them

I recently renewed my subscription but when I tried to make calls a voice message would say that my subscription has expired then the call would go through. Now after the voice message comes up I can't make calls I can only receive them.

Yours is unfortunately representative of a great many complaints about magicJack, which could be charitably characterized as administratively challenged.

magicJack's customer support is for the most part magically lacking. The phone number of 561-594-9925 is for billing matters only, and seeking either that phone help or chat help (at www.magicjack.com/techchat) may prove a waste of your time. You may write magicJack at [email protected], or:

You can dispute any payment with your bank or complain to the Florida Attorney General at 850-414-3990, and the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at 850-488-2221 or 2005 Apalachee Pkwy., Tallahassee, FL 32399.

It's possible (though not likely) that there's some real error that's causing the problem. On that assumption, you may wish to try these instructions. You can also reset the device, as explained here. Or consider "Running MagicJack as System" as outlined here.
