Need A Phone Number

Purchased new MAgic Jack and it is installed but I need to get a phone number. How do I do that.

Selection of the phone number is the last step in the installation process, so it's hard to know exactly what you mean when you say it's installed now. The best I can do is tell you how to reset the device. After resetting, hook up the device to your computer via its USB port. With a MAC, double-click the magicJack Plus icon that appears. (With a PC, magicJack Plus software will load automatically.) The magicJack comes with a 6-inch USB extension cable in case it interferes with other devices plugged into your USB ports. Click "Click Here To Register" or "Click Here for Free Trial." Follow the on-screen prompts.

Here's how to reset:

Unplug the magicJack, and run mjRemover.exe and then the Microsoft Fixit Center app. Then reboot and re-plug. (You can download the remover program from http://upgrades.talk4free.com/tools/mjRemover.exe.)
