Why does my Magic Jack not ring on my iPad mini? My friends told me that they called, it rings and rings 7 or more times but no answer I do not hear it ring even though I have notifications on

This is sadly a known issue which went as far as evoking down vote ratings on the app from fro the AppStore. One however had success by increasing the volume during an incoming call vibration prior to picking it up.
